Kiwi Car Games are a modern take on old-fashioned road trip entertainment.

We are a typical Kiwi family that have designed a range of games to entertain your family on those long car trips. They are specifically designed to work when you are driving around our beautiful country New Zealand.

Kiwis love their holidays, and often there is a long car journey getting to a favourite holiday spot. Kids can quickly get bored when travelling on long journeys, and bored kids generally don’t make for happy parents. The modern fix is to pack the digital devices and queue up the movies, but that’s not the only option.

Most people can remember their parents or grandparents keeping them occupied on long car trips with some version of a travel game. These travelling games worked back then, and kids these days still love them! We’ve played travel games from overseas with our kids but realised that we could make them easier and more fun to play with a bit of clever design and some rules that work really well in New Zealand.

A lot of kiwis will have played some version of a classic like car cricket or car bingo. Here at Kiwi Car games, we took those classic travel games, and made them even better to play with your family on a road trip. You can read more about how we come up with our travel games here.

All Kiwi Car Games are designed to be really easy to understand and play by kids of all ages, from the young ones who are getting to grips with reading, right through to oldies who are kids at heart.

Everything that you need to play each travel game is included in each pack, and some of the games can be scored a few different ways to suit the age of the kids or introduce a bit of variety during your road trip.
